Minister Liu Kun attends the third G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting under the Italian Presidency

The third G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting under the Italian G20 Presidency was held in Venice on July 9 and 10.

Participants at the meeting discussed issues including the global economy and health, international financial architecture, policies for the recovery, sustainable finance, international taxation and financial sector issues. A communiqué was issued at the end of the meeting.

Finance Minister Liu Kun attended and spoke at the meeting via video link. During the meeting, Liu was also invited to attend the G20 High-level Tax Symposium on Tax Policy and Climate Change, at which he outlined the effective fiscal and tax measures China has implemented with tangible achievements in response to climate change.

Zou Jiayi, Vice Minister of Finance, also participated in the events.
